Role Overview:

As a Cybersecurity Risk Management Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to assess and manage cybersecurity risks within the organization. You will conduct comprehensive risk assessments, analyze security vulnerabilities, and collaborate with IT teams to develop and implement effective risk management strategies. Your role will also entail ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.

        Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Comprehensive Risk Assessments and Analyze Security Vulnerabilities:

• Perform in-depth cybersecurity risk assessments, evaluating the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and data.

• Identify and assess potential security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to information assets and critical business functions.

• Analyze and prioritize risks based on their potential impact and likelihood, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the threat landscape.

Develop and Implement Effective Risk Management Strategies and Solutions:

• Develop risk mitigation strategies and controls to address identified vulnerabilities and threats.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to create actionable risk management plans, including timelines and responsibilities.

• Implement security measures and controls to reduce risks, such as access controls, encryption, intrusion detection systems, and incident response procedures.

Collaborate with IT Teams to Enhance Security Protocols and Procedures:

• Work closely with IT teams to improve security protocols and procedures in line with best practices and industry standards.

• Provide guidance and recommendations to IT personnel on security-related issues and initiatives.

• Facilitate security awareness training and exercises to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture.

Ensure Compliance with Relevant Cybersecurity Regulations and Standards:

• Stay current with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and frameworks applicable to the organization's industry and geography.

• Monitor and assess the organization's compliance with cybersecurity requirements, making adjustments and improvements as necessary.

• Assist in preparing for and responding to cybersecurity audits and regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Profound understanding of IT security protocols, standards, and regulations.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity risk analysis and mitigation.

• Strong ability to develop strategic risk management solutions.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Relevant industry certifications include CISSP, CISM, or CRISC (required).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity assessment tools and methodologies (required).

• Experience in conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments (required).

Additional Note on Security Clearance:

• Clearance Requirement: The necessity of obtaining a government security clearance for this position is To Be Determined (TBD) and will be contingent on specific project requirements. If required, successfully obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance will be integral to the role.

• Potential Clearance Process: If a security clearance is needed, candidates will be subject to a thorough background check and must fulfill the government's eligibility criteria.

• Conditional Employment: The role may require the maintenance of an active security clearance, along with periodic re-investigations, as dictated by security protocols.

• Support and Guidance: Should security clearance be mandatory, candidates will receive comprehensive support and guidance from our HR and Security teams throughout the process.
